The Northern Store is part of The Northwest Company based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Company has 175 stores spread across Alaska, and all the northern provinces and Territories of Canada. Locally the store is approximately 5,000 square feet with a staff of 15. The store carries a wide assortment of general merchandise from skidoo's and motorized equipment, to clothing, hardware and household items. In foods, produce, dairy and bread are on hand as well as frozen food and all types of confections and canned goods.
